 The Progressive Advisory Council provides an opportunity for Adam to meet with members of the progressive community in and around the Ninth Congressional District and informally discuss issues of mutual concern. This dialogue helps guide Adam’s decision making in Washington D.C.

SUMMARY:Low Impact Development Forum
DESCRIPTION:The public is cordially invited to a town meeting on “Low Impact Development\: Shelter from the Storm\,” on Thursday\, January 17 at the LIncoln Elementary School Library\, 213 21st Avenue S.E. (just off Capitol Way). The major speaker will be engineer/hydrologist Tom Holz\, who will discuss and illustrate building design that results in near-zero runoff of stormwater. He will also discuss how low impact development can mitigate flood damage to human communities and natural habitat.<br />
 <br />
 A speaker from Thurston County will address permitting and regulatory issues relating to low impact development. <br />
 <br />
 Q &amp\; A will follow the presentation. <br />
 <br />
