All day we are trying to get 133 volunteers across the state to contact voters (either do phone calls or go doorbelling) so we can reach at least the number of voters we won by in 2004.
We will be phonebanking all day and doorbelling starting at 5pm, contact the campaign office at 360-754-1270 to sign up for a shift!

On Thursday night, the Democratic National Convention will move to INVESCO Field at Mile High so that more Americans can be a part of the fourth night of the Convention as Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination.

With all of the county's water systems almost totally dependent on ground water for clean, fresh drinking water, issues related to water quality and available water supply cannot be ignored, said Sandra Romero, candidate for Thurston County Commissioner. "We have had growth and are still growing, and we don't even know how much potable water we will need or where we will get it from. This problem is like spending money out of your checking account but never knowing what the balance is. Chances are that, eventually, the funds will run out and you will be left high and dry," she said.
