Judge upholds election, rejects every GOP claim

Judge John Bridges announces the verdict in the gubernatorial election challenge trial in Chelan County Superior Court today in Wenatchee, Wash. The judge upheld Washington's 2004 gubernatorial election, rejecting Republicans' bid to nullify the 129-vote victory of Democratic Gov. Christine Gregoire. Bridges denied Republicans' claims that election errors, illegal voters and fraud stole the election from GOP candidate Dino Rossi.
